The Ideal Protein Weight Loss Method is based on creating a mild but consistent state of ketosis in the body. Ketosis stops the body from using it’s glycogen (sugar) supply, and instead, uses fat as energy. The liver breaks down fat, creating ketone bodies, which the body then consumes as sustainable energy!
This is done by reducing the intake of carbohydrates to a very specific amount, while providing the body with an adequate amount of protein to maintain lean muscle mass.
